Ship Weathervane
Isn't that a beautiful weathervane on the top of this building! When I saw it, it made me think of the poem Sea Fever which is one of my favorites.
Back in the Saddle Again!
So sorry for the long absence! Though, truthfully, there has not been much to tell. I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day! We did! I made some heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and a Red Velvet Cake for dessert. Check out the cute vintage Valentine's I was lucky enough to find at an antique store.
We took a fun little trip up to Camden, Maine a few weeks ago. It's a very photogenic little town and we enjoyed our short visit! Check out our pics!
Just Another Snow Storm
So, this past Sunday, we had
another snow storm (Maine-style!).
My back and arms are extremely sore from
digging out our poor little vehicles!
With the help of some neighbors, though, we
were done in just over an hour! I believe
we got over a foot of snow and there
was already quite a bit on the ground
from a snow last week. There are an
immense number of snow mountains
all over the place! It's going to take
till the middle of summer for all this
snow to melt, I think!
